Hi, my name is Mazed (Maz)and I’m a fully qualified driving instructor working with Orbit Driving School.
I have over 10 years of driving instruction experience and I cover Solihull, Yardley, Garretts Green, Stechford, Castle Vale, Alum Rock, and surrounding areas. If your area isn’t listed, feel free to call or text me and I’ll do my best to help.
I’m a calm, patient, and professional instructor, and my goal is not just to help you pass your driving test, but to prepare you for a safe and confident driving life. I focus on building your confidence step by step, especially if you feel nervous or unsure at the start.
My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each learner, making sure you fully understand the road, develop safe habits, and feel ready for both the driving test and real-world driving.

Frequently asked questions
You can apply online through the official GOV.UK website. You must be at least 15 years and 9 months old, and you’ll need to provide your identity details and pay a small fee. Your licence usually arrives within a week.
Yes! You can begin practical driving lessons as soon as you receive your provisional licence. In fact, starting early can help you better understand the theory in real-life scenarios
Please bring your provisional driving license (must be valid and in date). Glasses or contact lenses if you need them for driving. Comfortable footwear (avoid heavy boots or heels). We’ll take care of the rest!
In the UK, you can generally start taking driving lessons when you are 17 years old. However, if you receive the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP), you can start lessons at 16.
That’s completely normal! Our instructors are patient, friendly, and experienced in helping new drivers feel comfortable. We’ll move at your pace and build your confidence gradually, one step at a time.
Think about what kind of driving you’ll be doing.
Manual lessons give you a full licence to drive both manual and automatic cars.
Automatic lessons are easier for some learners but limit you to automatic cars after passing.

Yes, Refunds for unused block bookings will be calculated based on the full lesson rate.
Yes, you may be able to use our vehicle for your driving test even if you're not a current student. However, you will need to complete a minimum of 4 hours of assessment lessons so we can evaluate your driving ability. Please note, vehicle hire is subject to your test readiness and is not guaranteed. The fee for this service is £250.
